Who am I?

My name is Georgina Moon. I have an Associate of Applied Science degree from Lane Community College in Computer User Support. I have a strong foundation of knowledge and skills in technology and information systems. I have very good working knowledge of the Microsoft applications, particularly Excel, Access, and Word. I have created several small relational databases, using Access. I am familiar with Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, and am currently becoming familiar with Windows XP.

I worked in the Computer Information Technology lab at Lane Community College as a Lab Aide for six months, supporting users with software and/or programming questions and issues. I am currently working as a Computer Lab Aide for the Training and Development NetWork NetForce department at Lane Community College. My responsibilities include providing front-line support for staff and customer users on a broad range of support functions relating to both software and hardware.

In addition to my computer knowledge, skills, and abilities, I also have seven years of accounting and payroll experience. I have excellent oral and written communication skills, including technical writing skills. I have strong interpersonal and customer service skills. I like people and have the ability to accomodate various personalities and situations. I would love to work in an environment that consistently challenges me and provides me with the opportunity to increase and refine my computer knowledge, skills, and abilities. I love computers and I love to learn.
